  • I am a vibrant tapestry of cultures and experiences, woven together by a journey that spans continents! Born in the heart of Egypt, I was shaped by the dynamic energy of Dubai, where I spent my formative years immersed in a melting pot of traditions. As life unfolded, my husband and I embarked on an adventure across the globe, embracing the rich cultures of Qatar, the innovation of Singapore, and the diverse landscapes of the United States. Today, I call North America home, with Canada as my current destination—a place where my global experiences continue to shape my ever-evolving story!
  • In 2004, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the American University in Dubai, driven by my love for art, culture, and meaningful spaces. As I entered the corporate world, I noticed a pattern—many clients, despite lavish home investments, still felt unfulfilled. Through personal interactions, I realized that true well-being goes beyond aesthetics, sparking my passion for human psychology. This journey reinforced my belief that design should not only reflect culture and beauty but also nurture the soul, shaping the values and perspectives I hold today.

I believe our life experiences shape the very essence of who we are. In 2016, my family and I embarked on a life-changing immigration journey to Ontario, Canada—a leap of faith that came with challenges, growth, and invaluable lessons. Adjusting to a new country while raising young children was transformative, pushing me to embrace change with resilience and curiosity. This chapter ignited my passion for continuous learning, deepened my appreciation for diverse perspectives, and reinforced my belief that every day is an opportunity to grow, adapt, and welcome the world with an open heart.

In 2021, I earned my certification from the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy (CiiAT), launching my journey as a Professional Canadian Art Therapist specializing in virtual sessions. My mission is to make art therapy accessible to people from all walks of life, helping them connect with their inner voice, process emotions, and unlock their fullest potential.

Blending my expertise in Art Therapy, Fine Arts, Therapeutic Touch, and Dorn Therapy, I take a holistic, client-centered approach—creating a safe, judgment-free space where individuals can rediscover their strengths. I am passionate about research in this field and was honored to contribute to the Virtual Art Therapy Clinic’s pilot study at CiiAT.

My work is especially dedicated to women navigating mental health challenges, including immigrants, new mothers, and those experiencing life transitions. No matter where you are in the world, if you’re seeking a way to express yourself beyond words, I invite you to connect. All you need is an internet connection—and a willingness to explore the healing power of art.

  •  I love watching sunsets and I have way too many pictures of the sun on my phone. I love going on walks and reading, and I am quite recently obsessed with baking all sorts of muffins. I have 2 loving cats and 2 awesome teenagers!
